Abstract :
Cyberspace as an emerging reality with its functions and shaping cross-border interactions, has been able to affect various aspects of human life, one of the most important of which is the field of national identity. The argument here is that borderless communication in cyberspace has led to changes in people's attitudes toward their national identity, and has therefore left many societies in the throes of a national identity crisis. The main point here is that cyberspace has also influenced the tendencies towards national identity in Iran, so that as a result of this influence, many Iranians have been exposed to fundamental questions about their national identity. In other words, the expansion of cyberspace and Increasing its use in Iran has been able to reduce the tendency of many Iranian users to their national identity. This situation has made it necessary for the State of the Islamic Republic to adopt appropriate policies in various fields in order to meet this challenge, which is one of the most important areas, the field of media. The present study believes that the State of the Islamic Republic, by reforming its approaches and policies in relation to broadcasting organization and cyberspace, can help strengthen the tendency of members of Iranian society to their national identity and prevent a national identity crisis in the country. It should be noted that the method of this article is descriptive-analytical.
