Abstract: After the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, led by Imam Khomeini, in the year 57, Iran has become a power of revisionism, which has always sought to change the order in the region and elsewhere in the world. Including shortening the hands of the trans-regional imperialist powers such as the United States in the Middle East, issuing a revolution to the region and the world with Islamic claims, as well as supporting the oppressed and Muslim nations against global arrogance. With these interpretations, the United States has always threatened Iran with military strikes due to its domestic and regional policies and practices. But several times after the massive propaganda campaign against Iran, a military strike against Iran has been eliminated. In this paper, we try to answer the question of why the United States did not carry out the attack after repeatedly threatened Iran with a military strike؟ The hypothesis in response to this question is that major powers, including the United States, are once fighting for a war whose survival is at stake or the war is the last possible solution. Therefore, Iran is not a threat to the survival of the United States and has other solutions to contain Iran, so it does not need to go to war. The type of research is descriptive-analytic and the method of collecting library information and according to the documents and evidence available.
