The research method‏:‏‎ in this research is descriptive-analytical. The main purpose of ‎this paper is to answer the reason for this issue and explain it. Collection method is a ‎combination of library and field method. Research findings: Social capital has a key role to play in the participation of the people ‎in the elections and will increase the participation of citizens in any way that adds to the ‎social capital of the community. Findings of the research show that there is a significant ‎relationship between social trust and electoral participation. On the other hand, there is a ‎meaningful relationship between social networking networks and also between the ‎degree of cohesion and social solidarity and their participation in elections. With the ‎difference that, as far as the recognition of the elections in the smaller area is concerned, ‎there is more trust and relations, and to any extent this area, there is less trust and ‎participation, so that participation in city councils is more than parliamentary and ‎presidential elections.
