Abstract :
Eurasia, which consists of several large regional subsystems, is formed by a complex network of transit corridors due to its unique geo-economic situation. Until the collapse of the Soviet Union, this network was formed and developed with a centralized logic in Moscow, and basically entered a period of transition since the collapse of the USSR. The development of external communication with the surrounding areas has been the most important direction of this transition. Iran and Turkey as two countries with the role of bridge in this process are significantly important. This role has received more attention especially since the start of the Ukraine war, which has created a major geo-economic deadlock in the Eurasian corridor network with Russia's sanctions. In this situation, the current research seeks to answer the question, "How has Iran and Turkey performed in the network of new Eurasian corridors?". The hypothesis that is raised in response to this question is that Turkey has performed more effectively in this field despite its geographical limitations due to the strategic directions of foreign trade of Eurasian countries. The theoretical framework of this article started with the conceptualization of geo-economics and used the theory of balance of interests in the analysis of the performance of Iran and Turkey and especially the analysis and evaluation of the nature of the interactions between the two countries in Eurasia. This article is based on comparative research method with integrated approach.
