Abstract :
Rumi's poems have a special place as one of the main pillars of Persian poetry, and their importance is not hidden from anyoneSo far, much research has been done about Shams's sonnets, but the examination of these sonnets, with a formalistic view, can reveal other dimensions of these poems. In formalist criticism, the form of the work is the basis of aesthetic analysis to reach the meaning hidden in the work, meaning that the creator of the work does not even intend. One of the beautiful sonnets of Sham's Divan is a sonnet with the message "O heart, what have you thought of for the excuse of those faults" which has been tried in this research to depict a corner of the beauty and elegance of this sonnet. The beauty that is hidden in the appearance of speech and syntactic composition and the arrangement and the music of words, has given the sonnet a unique depth and richness
