Abstract :
The present research is a reflection on the relationship between old age and a disciple from the perspective of"Seven Sanabels", a valuable work by Abdul Wahid Belgrami(d. 912 AH? or 915 AH?)."Seven Sanabal" with the subject of mysticism, Sufism, description of the condition of Indian Sufis, the characteristics and lifestyle of Chishtiyya mystics in the subcontinent, is arranged in seven spikes, and in the second spike, Abdulwahid Belgrami has discussed aging and discipleship and the truth of its nature. The present research aims to explain the relationship between old age and disciple in the language of Abdulvaheed Belgrami, using a descriptive-analytical method. First of all, he has described the characteristics of Pir Sadegh and how to choose Piran. The results of the research indicate that Belgrami, like other elders of the Cheshtiyya sect, considers etiquette for elders and disciples. Also, based on the Chishti method and unlike other mystical methods,he also opened a place for women in this method and believes in taking allegiance from women; He also considers having a family tree and a hat as a sign of old people. Further, he believes that the disciple should repent of all sins, shave his head and put a hat on his head when he steps on the path of Salukah. From Belgrami's point of view, the disciple is either formal and superficial, or his heart is sincerely in the group of tariqat. From his point of view, a true disciple should first try to be moral and follow the path of the authorities.
