The Effect of Chastity in Empowerment of Women in Political Society of Iran with Emphasis on Islamic Republic

Abstract :
The Chastity is considered as one of the most fundamental moral teachings of Islam. The Muslim women should avoid showing off, preening and charming outside the house, on the other hand; the men of society should avoid the libertine and sensuality. Imam Khomeini has emphasized on the promotion of the righteous culture by women. According to him, after Iranian revolution in 1969, women desire to have Fatima (SA) as model and have promoted the school of Islamic culture due to the Islamic movement. This article by using the descriptive, analytical method attempts to investigate the position and impact of women's chastity, and political empowerment of women in Iran after the Islamic Revolution. The results show that chastity and hijab for women is not only an obstacle to their participation in society, but also, a promotion for women to play an important role during the development of the Islamic Revolution.by maintaining chastity, observing religious teachings and following the religious leaders 'way, especially Imam Khomeini.
