Abstract :
Increasing density and population expansion, especially urban population, increase in the value of urban lands, lack of proper development programs on the agenda of the executive organizations, and lack of economic justification of urban green and open spaces unfortunately lead to reduction of the share of urban green space in cities. This is to the extent that at times, urban open and green spaces are established in as small areas as possible, to meet the needs of urban hard sections. These spaces do not occur for the most part because of improper construction and lack of proper analysis to identify areas with crises. The aim of this study was evaluation of 6 zones in six selected areas of Isfahan municipality in order to determine priority areas for development of green spaces in Isfahan city. This research from the functional point of view and based on an implementation project approved by Isfahan municipality organization of parks and green spaces in 2017. Using a descriptive-analytical approach and survey method, a Fuzzy -AHP technique was used to identify and prioritize the proposed areas of municipality in 6 areas of the city in order to free and develop green space. The six criteria of this study were selected based on review of the subject literature as well as survey studies that included the cost of Liberation, per capita green space, soil condition, fair distribution, accessibility and time, and then prioritization based on these criteria. Finally, among the 6 proposed zones, the zone of Zohrabadi located in district 11 of Isfahan municipality with final weight of 0.352 as the first priority and the zone of Fizdan located in zone 6 with final weight of 0.051 is considered as the last priority for liberation and development of green space.
