This paper studies the women's general health from Bowen's theory of family systems perspective, with the focus on differentiation concept. The sample consists of 53 women clients of Azzahra University clinic of counseling and psychotherapy. It used GHQ and DSI-R questionnaires to gather data. The result shows that there is a relation between general health and differentiation. Among differentiation subscales, emotional reactivity, emotional cutoff and I- position predict the symptoms of depression, physical symptoms , anxiety, and social dysfunction. The result also shows that there is a significant difference between the general health in differentiated and undifferentiated women.
