Abstract :
The aim of this study was to predict vulnerability to stress based on personality traits and resilience in women victims of domestic violence in Kermanshah. The present research is applied in terms of purpose and is a descriptive-survey correlational research method. The statistical population of the study consists of all marginalized women in Kermanshah. Using cluster sampling method, 156 people were selected as the sample. The NEO-FFI by Costa and McCray (1985) and the Connor and Davidson (2003) resilience scale were distributed among them. Pearson correlation and multiple regression analysis were used to analyze the data in this study according to the research hypothesis. The results showed that personality traits and resilience in women victims of violence can predict their vulnerability to stress. Therefore, it is suggested that in the suburbs due to many problems such as poverty and addiction, women should be given more social support and resilience skills should be taught to reduce vulnerability to stress.
