Abstract :
Many family members, especially mothers, suffer from the negative effects of having a child with special needs, especially a child with a learning disability. The aim of this study was to predict the sense of cohesion of women with children with learning disabilities based on social support and self-efficacy. The research method was descriptive-correlational. The statistical population of the present study included all mothers with children with learning disabilities who referred to medical centers in Tabriz in 1400, of which 300 people were selected by purposive sampling as a sample and questionnaires of sense of cohesion, social support. And completed self-efficacy. The obtained data were analyzed by correlation coefficient and multiple regression statistical methods using SPSS-17 software. The results showed that self-efficacy (p = 0.001, β = 0.177) and social support (p = 0.001, β = 0.289) simultaneously accounted for 15% of the changes in the "sense of cohesion" of mothers with children with disabilities. Explain learning. Using the results, it can be suggested that by holding workshops and educational classes to explain the role of social support and strengthen self-efficacy to strengthen the sense of cohesion of mothers with children with learning disabilities.
