Abstract :
objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of Conflict resolution skills education on Willingness to marry in Single girls in Isfahan city. method: This study is a quasi experimental design with pretest-posttest including control group and The statistical population consisted of all single girls in the 11th district of Isfahan 40 of whom were selected as the sample of the study through the selective sampling. They were divided into two experimental and control groups. To measure the willingness to marry The questionnaire of (Heydari et al. 2004) was used. (Heydari et al., 2004) and On the experimental group, the training package on conflict resolution skills was implemented in 8 sessions of 90 minutes. Data were analyzed using covariance analysis. Result: The results of analysis of covariance showed that Conflict resolution skills education increase the desire to marry and also the results show that Conflict resolution skill education on the Factors had significant effect (p < 0.05) on the willingness to marry (attitudes towards marriage, preparation for marriage, thinking about the consequences of marriage and marriage obstacles) Conclusion: the findings of the present study can be used by pre-marriage counselors for giving advice and guidance for the girls the results, pre-marriage counselors can use girls for advice and guidance.
