Abstract :
The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of the quality of life index on the participation rate of women in the labor market of Iran. This is despite the fact that in most of the researches, the factors affecting women's employment have been studied or the effects of women's employment on their quality of life have been investigated, and this issue is considered as an innovation of the present research. The investigated time period is from 1369 to 1399, in which the vector self-explanation method with extended intervals (ARDL) was used. In this study, which is of analytical causal type, an attempt was made to investigate the effects of quality of life index factors such as per capita income, literacy rate, life expectancy, and information technology on employment. The results obtained from the research indicate that per capita income, literacy rate, and life expectancy have a positive and significant impact, while access to information and communication technology has a negative and significant impact on women's employment. In general, based on the results obtained, it can be said that by planning to increase the quality of life by increasing the literacy rate of women and improving life expectancy by spending on education and health, it is possible to provide the basis for increasing the employment of women. Also, with the use of modern technologies, including ICT, by governments, it is possible to plan properly to improve women's business in cyberspace
