Abstract :
Karun River is the longest and longest river in the country, due to the presence of numerous industrial centers and agricultural lands and large cities on its borders, has a strategic position in the western and southwestern part of Iran and its optimal water quality monitoring is a national necessity. . For this purpose, in the present study, the quality of this river based on Scholler diagram and using chemical parameters TDS TH, So4, CL, Ca, HCO3 Na, and Mg in nine water quality monitoring stations of Karun River during 12/96 ,1397/06 was reviewed. Then, by IDW method, the chemical parameters of water were qualitatively zoned according to water quality control indices such as Schuler quality index of each of them for drinking consumption. According to Schuler divisions, the quality of the Shahid Abbaspur Dam station became excellent from this time, the Shahid Abbaspur, Gargar, Arab Asad and Gotvand Dam springs are within the acceptable quality range and the Validabad station from inappropriate to completely inappropriate, the station. Tight dolab has become unpopular from a completely inappropriate range. In fact, lower water levels in September have led to an increase in salts at the two Tang Dolab and Waliabad stations.
