Abstract :
In order to control and monitor the behavior of dams, a diverse set of tools are designed and installed to provide regular observations and inspections that are aware of their movements and identify the potential risks before they fail. In order to investigate the conditions of the state of the art and the instrumentation of the Saddar instrument, this paper uses the US Army's Road Ditch Assessment Guidelines, titled Technical Report REMR-OM-25. The basis of this approach is based on the likelihood of a major breakdown which threatens each dam. The earth dam may be destroyed in the form of one or a combination of several disruptions (water overflow on the crown, the structure of the dam and the body of the dam, the massive displacement of the dam, the support or dam body and surface erosion). In this method, the condition indicator (REMR) is determined and the dam is placed in one of the conditions (excellent, very good, good, medium, weak, very weak and false). The issue that can endanger the Marun Dam is its lower discharge status. It is located in the upper reaches of the damper and in the past the walls of the chamber have been leaked, so that a concrete wall around it has been erected. A strong flow of water from the leakage point of the valves can result in a large and unauthorized flow of rods and the operation of the valve also compromises.
