Abstract :
In this project a special machine has been designed to increase the efficiency of the process in producing 2´´ ball valves. In this process by removing parts of the ball that has lost its quality during years of working 100 grams of its weight is decreased and the remained removals can be used and put back into production cycle after melting. Also by three simultaneous actions in three parts of work piece not only production speed is increased but also manpower is deleted. In this machine rotating forces like shafts, pulleys, etc. are supplied by electrical engines. In two parts of this machine transmission movement from engine to the shaft is carried through synchronous belt and in the last part power transmission is done by means of chain belt transmission movements are done by hydraulic cylinder. Chip removal operation is done dry (without cooling). For saving time the operation of one of the parts is carried out simultaneously with two other parts. In the process of design, Catia software was wed. The design is based on German standards. It is worth mentioning that due to extensive number of calculations explanations related to this part are deleted here.
