Abstract :

Summery: BACKGROUND: Brucellosis is a common disease between humans and animalAnd it is a public health problem in some parts of the world, especially in areas where livestock jobs are the main source of income. The prevalence of this disease is different between countries. Iran is one of endemic areas for this disease. every year it causes harmful social and economic challenges. Due to the high level of prevalence of this disease, economic costs and its consequences in human and animal, the study of various aspects especially epidemiology is very important. MATERIALS AND METHODS: By referring to chaharmahal and bakhtiari health center, the required information of patient we need is registered. Then entered the Excel and Spss software with descriptive indicators (frequency, mean, St. Deviation) and the required chi-squre test have been analyzed. Finally, the obtained information will be provided to chaharmahal and bakhtiari health center. Also RESULTS: This study was performed on 1369 patient with brucellosis in chaharmahal and bakhtiari province from 2013 to February 2020. Of these patient, 845 were men (61.7%) & 523 (38.2%) were women. The highest incidence of this disease was in 2016. And the average age is 34.7 years. In examining patient’s job, livestock (28%) and housekeeping (26%) had the highest statistics. CONCLUSIONS: Due to the high prevalence of this disease in chaharmahal and bakhtiari province, it is emphasizing necessary to the education of the people and complete vaccination of livestock.
