Abstract :
In this research, the effects of urban cold islands (green infrastructures) in districts 2 and 4 of Tabriz metropolitan on the mitigation of urban heat islands have been evaluated. In this research, data were collected using Landsat satellite images, land use maps related to the periods of 1984, 2002, and 2022, meteorological data, biophysical table, and detailed plan map of 2016Tabriz Municipality and using GIS and model Urban cooling has been analyzed by InVEST software. The results showed that in 1984, district 2 with 10.04% of green space and District 4 with 4.51% of green space and 32.08% of agricultural land, respectively, about 14.42% and 37.79% respectively, in 2002, district 2 with green space around 7.72% and district 4 with agricultural land and green space around 24.37 and 1.83%, respectively around 10.46 and 27.10% and in 2022 also district 2 With green space and agricultural land at about 12.96 and 0.155 percent, and district 4 with agricultural land and green space at about 19.74 and 3.09 percent, in the best case, about 33.15 and 23.47 percent, respectively mitigate urban heat islands. Also, the results showed that in 1984, the pattern of mitigating urban heat islands in District 2 was blocky and fragmented, and district 4 was more blocky and less fragmented, in 2002 district 2 was clustered and fragmented, district 4 was more blocky and less clustered and fragmented, and in 2022, district 2 was more clustered and less blocky and fragmented, and district 4 was more blocky and then fragmented. Also, in 1984, districts 4 and 2 of Tabriz Metropolitan with 69688158 and 19337882, respectively, in 2002 with 107206826 and 58416241 respectively, and in 2022, districts 2 and 4 of Tabriz Metropolitan with 173423460 and 153319717-kilowatt hours respectively have the highest amount of energy savings due to the mitigation of urban heat islands.
