Abstract :
Walkability as an effective component in the presence of people in public spaces can establish communication between people and create social interactions between users of urban space. As a result of this presence and creation of interactions between people, it causes the pleasant feeling of using the spaces between buildings in people and the creation of life in public spaces. This study aims to assess the effects of Walkability on the Vitality of public spaces in the city and to assess the extent of the effects of these components on the Vitality of Honarmandan parks. This research is part of descriptive-analytical research from the perspective of the research method and the perspective of the purpose of Applied Research. The type of reasoning is comparative and there are causal relationships between the research variables. The study has two main variables: the independent variable Walkability and the dependent variable Vitality. G-power software was used to specify the sample size. Examples of this research are possible and simple given that all the people in the community studied are homogeneous and similar. Questionnaires and field harvesting were used to collect data. The questionnaire contains closed questions. The study utilized multiple linear regression and Spearman correlation tests to identify the variables and pedestrian indicators that have an impact on increasing life. The findings of the study on the theoretical model of the urban vitality variable in Honarmandan park revealed a strong and positive correlation with primary seating, separation from car crossings, path continuity, night attendance, and lighting. However, there was a strong and inverse relationship with the barrier variable. On the other hand, there was no significant correlation between the vitality variable and indicators of insecurity, such as vehicles, garbage, signage, enclosure, proper use, presence of visually impaired individuals, and presence of elderly individuals. This suggests that these indicators are not influenced by the urban vitality variable in the Honarmandan park. Today, the quality and attractiveness of urban spaces have become crucial indicators of development and livability in cities.
