Urban Designing Based on Factors Affecting Cultural Regeneration with Increase Night-time Approach

Abstract :
Given that urban centers are a symbol of identity, history, culture, and urban life, new urban developments, ignoring historical-cultural centers, constitute a disregard for urban identity. Today, our country has minimally used the historical-cultural potential in regenerating urban spaces.Today, the most important means of cultural regeneration in developed countries is the use of historical-cultural values as resources for development and attention to people's leisure time. Today's urbanization in our country is associated with the least productivity of historical-cultural potentials, design and re-creation of urban spaces at night, and more than one-third of life time (night hours) in cities is completely unused.The ancient history, culture and tourism field of Shiraz city, as well as factors such as suitable climate, people's lifestyle and the great interest of Shiraz people to spend their free time at night, have been effective factors in choosing the research topic. The present article is an attempt to examine the components affecting the cultural regeneration and night-time of the historical axis of Erfan as one of the most important historical-cultural spaces of Shiraz. This study has used a descriptive-analytical approach as well as library, field, observational and interview studies. The statistical society included 2400 people consisting of residents and merchants of the study area while the sample size included 331 individuals considering Morgan’s Table. Research data has been collected randomly using two questionnaires. Statistical analysis of the research has been descriptive and inferential and SPSS 24 software has been used for testing the research hypotheses and the results have been presented as descriptive tables and single sample T-test. Crime component, safety-security, education, attendance-social participation, life quality and monitoring-authority components have been respectively the most important factors influencing the research topic.
