Abstract :
History is the history and birth certificate of every nation, or every nation and tribe. Antiquities and historical monuments reveal the background, history and civilization of any land. The historical city of Bonevar Khalil Khan Bakhtiyari Duraki was the seat of Bakhtiari government, culture and civilization after the collapse of Atabakan Lor Bozorg until the beginning of Qajar. In addition to their importance due to their long and ancient history, historical monuments are symbols of introducing historical, geographical and cultural and identity characteristics. These elements have become urban symbols with various uses over time, and hence they play an important role in the process of urban identity formation. The current research, with the method of library and field study and descriptive-analytical method, aims to identify the position of Khalil Khan's historical monuments as the only glorious monument of urbanization in Bakhtiyari state left from the Safavid period. Although traces of Sassanid era civilization can be seen in Bonevar, in the Islamic period, after the overthrow of Atabakan Lor Bozorg by Amir Bahram Shah Astiriki, was chosen as the center of the Bakhtiyari government, and it became very magnificent and great during the early Safavid period. During the time of three of the first great Bakhtiari governors and patriarchs, namely Amir Tajmir Khan Bakhtiari Astiriki and his son Amir Jahangir Khan, and especially his grandson Khalil Khan grandchildren of Amir Bahram Shah, its grandeur and splendor increased. Therefore, he became known as "Bonevar Khalil Khan Bakhtiyari". Bonevar as the seat of government, Bakhtiari culture and civilization has included historical and social dimensions. In addition to knowledge, its monuments include arts such as painting, architecture, music, polo (riding and shooting). In Bonevar civilization, we can see four elements, economic, political, moral and artistic traditions, which have been symbols of the human way of life in every historical period. In this research, in addition to library sources and field research, Amirjahangir Khan Bakhtiyari Astiriki's inscription has been analyzed.
