Abstract :
Investigating justice in gender relations is one of the most complex concepts in recent decades, the importance of which has been recognized by international organizations for social, human development and quality of life. This article is looking for an answer to the question of what the feeling of relative deprivation has to do with the quality of life of women. The statistical population was made up of women aged 18 and over who lived in Tehran in 1400. Survey research method and information has been collected by face-to-face interview technique in the form of a questionnaire. The sample size is 404 people and the samples have been selected from five regions by random urban block sampling method. To judge the hypotheses, correlation coefficient test (Pearson, Spearman), independent F, correlation T and univariate regression were used. Findings show: variables (age, level of education, number of family members, income, marital status, family forms) are not significant with quality of life. But as the feeling of relative deprivation increases, the quality of life decreases and vice versa. Also, the physical well-being of women has decreased during the outbreak of Covid-19. So it can be said: the basic core of the feeling of relative deprivation, which is justice, strongly affects the quality of life of women. The feeling of injustice is the result of a deep gap between subjectivity and external reality. Of course, the feeling of deprivation is reduced by changing the conditions and providing information in order to correct mentalities.
