Teachers' Attitudes to Citizenship Rights and Its Relationship with the Use of Mass Media and Social Participation Among Teachers in District One of Tabriz Scientific

Abstract :
The present study was conducted with the aim of determining the attitude of teachers towards citizenship rights and its relationship with social participation and the use of mass media among teachers in District 1 of Tabriz. In terms of purpose, it is an applied research and in terms of time, it is a cross-sectional study. The research method was a survey. The statistical population of teachers in District 1 of Tabriz Education and Training is 1880 people. The statistical sample was 319 people based on Morgan's table and the sampling was done using a relative stratified random method. The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire. To examine the validity of the questionnaires, face validity was used and to examine the reliability of the instrument, Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used, which had appropriate reliability. The analysis of variance test and Pearson's correlation coefficient test were used to analyze the data. The findings showed that there is a significant relationship between teachers' attitudes towards citizenship rights and social participation, age and the use of mass media, but there was no significant difference between teachers' attitudes towards citizenship rights according to their level of education.
