Humberto Varum is currently professor at the Civil Engineering Department of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, Portugal. Main research interests: assessment, strengthening and repair of structures, structural health monitoring, structural testing and modelling, earthquake engineering and structural dynamics, earth construction rehabilitation and seismic strengthening.
