Psychometric properties of antisocial core beliefs questionnaire

Abstract :
Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the psychometric properties of the short form questionnaire of core antisocial beliefs in adolescents aged 15 to 18 years old in Isfahan. Using the short form of the questionnaire, 96 questions of core anti-social beliefs were measured. This research is a descriptive survey and a correlation branch, which was investigated based on classical psychometric methods. In order to ensure the correctness of the main structure of the scale, the method of confirmatory factor analysis was used with AMOS24 software. The results show that the value of CFI equal to 0.9 and RMSEA index equal to 0.02 indicates a good fit of the model. After determining the factor loading of each question, 13 questions had factor loading less than 0.3, which were removed from the whole questionnaire and the new questionnaire has 83 Question with a reliability of 0.963 and the reliability of their subscales in eight items of antisocial personality beliefs, avoidant personality, borderline personality, conduct personality, dependent personality, dramatic personality, narcissistic personality and obsessive compulsive personality are equal to 0.769, 782 respectively. 0.0, 0.779, 0.81, 0.730, 0.762, 0.804, 0.679 were calculated. The obtained findings show that the Antisocial Core Beliefs Questionnaire can be used as a relatively reliable tool to measure antisocial core beliefs in 15-18-year-old teenagers
