Abstract :
Seclusion is one of the frequently used concepts in mystical literature. Other related concepts are Solitude, privacy and 'CheleNeshini'. It is such an important notion that many Sufis have devoted several chapters of their works to defining the concept. Some praise it, while others reprove it and consider it as a sinful act. Yet some others endeavor to classify it. The present paper is an attempt to investigate different point of views on seclusion from allegoric and narrative perspective in general and in Khaghani's Divan in particular.
