One of Zarrinkoob’s stories, May he be remembered, is The Lone Tree which was first published in Yaghma in 1347. The Lone Tree is a philosophic story in nature written in a beautiful, simple, fluent prose. In this article, while examining the important parts of the story, well find out The Lone Tree is the allegorical character for the writer of the story. The Lone Tree is a solitary being who has with stoop wind ever since it can recall, and after some words it has with the old tree and the wild rock, it realizes that the secret of life and the truth of existence resistance, perseverance, and eventually entering independence area and approaching gods realm; he finds out about all these as the gradual perfection of his thoughts and philosophy takes place, and finally The Lone Tree gets to such an area. و او این مسائل را با تکامل تدریجی فکری و فلسفی در مییابد و فرجام کار تکدرخت رسیدن به چنین عرصهای است.
