Abstract :
One of the literary types in the field of literature is allegory, which originates from the strong imagination of a writer or poet to express his thoughts and ideas. The purpose of writing this article is to examine allegory in the poems of poets from the sixth to the eighth century, with an emphasis on the poems of Khaqani, which is done in a descriptive-analytical and library manner. In this descriptive article, by analyzing the poems of poets from the sixth to the eighth century, with an emphasis on the poems of Khaqani, we search for the types of narrative and descriptive allegory in this work and explain how to use and the types of each of the allegories used in it. In this article, using an analytical-descriptive method, allegorical simile, allegorical metaphor, and natural allegory in the poets' divan are subjected to criticism. Therefore, allegory is first briefly explained from the point of view of experts, and then its types in the poems of poets are examined. The study of this work shows that these poets used allegory not only to make mental issues tangible, but also to express these issues in a more tangible way.
