Abstract :
The Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL) theory, by examining the sentence structure, explains the different types of processes and their function in the discourse and semantic body of the sentence. This research tries to answer the main question that in the textual structure of Sepideh Kashani's allegorical poems, which of the linguistic processes have more dominance, and this female poet has used which semantic domains to name people and concepts in order to represent her idea in the form of allegory? The purpose of this research is to examine the allegorical poems of the field of resistance literature based on one of the new approaches of linguistics in the collection of Sepideh Kashani's poems. The findings show that among the six linguistic processes in her poetry, the highest frequency belongs to the processes of "relational" and "material". Considering that her poetry has taken shape in the context of educational-motivational discourse, she first describes and communicates her idea and then, in order to encourage and excite the audience, uses material and action processes that strengthen the spirit of commitment in the audience. Considering that Sepideh tried to make concepts such as "defense" and "martyrdom" tangible, she avoided the use of mental and abstract processes. In her poems, sometimes tangible concepts and sometimes abstract concepts are responsible for conveying the idea of resistance and defense of the homeland. The naming method in her poetry has also taken the form of natural elements such as flowers "tulip, poppy, red rose" and colors "red, green". The necessity of doing this research can be found primarily in the importance of the literary genre of sacred defense, which poets such as Sepideh Kashani, with their own special style, played a significant role in shaping this literary genre. On the other hand, Franco-Functionalism provides researchers with a tool to be able to trace the worldview governing the work and ultimately the social, cultural and political conditions of a particular historical period from the depths of the text's texture.
