Abstract :
The discourse of moderation in the 11th presidential election in the tense political-economic environment due to the inefficiency of the ruling discourse in the country was able to reach the public. Hassan Rouhani, the bearer of the discourse of moderation, by generalizing the approach of moderation and constructive interaction in this discourse and articulating the various signs of the semantic system governing the discourse, generalized and challenged the hegemony of the ruling discourse and imposed his desired order on society and ruling discourse. Making. The discourse of moderation in the discourse conflict, relying on the central signifier of constructive interaction and due to having an active and coherent subject position with the marginalization process and highlighting in the discourse competition, prevails against the ruling discourse of the country and other competing discourses. Gain more prestige among the people and become hegemonic. The present study, based on Laclau and Moff's theory of discourse, explains the discourse of the Eleventh Government and seeks to examine how the dominant discourse becomes hegemonic due to the conflicts and hegemonic rivalries between this discourse and the discourse of justice-oriented fundamentalism and the emergence and hegemony of moderation.
