Abstract :

Literary sociologist Lucien Goldman sees literature as a reflection of social and historical contexts that helps to understand collective consciousness. He emphasizes the importance of analyzing social and cultural factors in the formation of literary works and believes that the literary work represents the author's daily life and worldview. Goldman has a dialectical approach and sees literary works as the product of the interaction between the author's mental schemas and the social consciousness of his class. His analysis of time includes two stages of "reception" and "interpretation" in which the structure of the work is first understood and then within the framework of the social economic structure. It is interpreted that this theory, which goes beyond the sociology of literature, leads to a more complex understanding of the relationship between human consciousness and social organization. In the analysis of the qualitative content of two stories from the collection of "Azadaran stories" "Bail and bitter sugar", the emphasis is on the lack of possibilities of poverty, superstition and naivety. These factors have led to objectification and alienation from oneself. In Bil's Mourners, we are faced to a problematic population and in Bitter Sugar, we are faced to the individuality. Bitter Sugar has a more complex economic structure and deals with the details of historical events, while Bil's Mourners is more symbolic. This analysis shows the structural differences in the two works. And it reflects how they influence and influence the society.
