Exploring the Indexes of Entrepreneurial University in Higher Education through Fuzzy Inference System at Islamic Azad University, Qaemshahr Branch

Abstract :
The role of an entrepreneurial university in the dynamic environment of the knowledge-based economy is supporting the economic development through increasing the quantity and the quality of research(basic and applied). The rapid transfer of the new knowledge to the community is possible through education and entrepreneurship. The purpose of the present research is exploration and investigating the condition of academic entrepreneurship and indexes of the entrepreneurial university, Including mission, strategy, governance, organization and organizational design, multidiscipline, transdicipline, leverage, applying different resources, public value and stakeholder management, alumni, knowledge transfer, incubation, cross all departmental spin offs venture funding, internationalization, and enterprise and entrepreneurship education in higher education through Fuzzy Inference System. The method used in this study is survey method (in terms of data collection) and an applied research (in terms of research purposes). Statistical population of the present study includes professors, specialists, and administrators of Islamic Azad University, Qaemshahr branch. Entrepreneurial university questionnaire designed by Gibb (2012) was used for data collection, and the Fuzzy Hypothesis Test was used for data analysis. Results showed that academic entrepreneurship and Indexes of entrepreneurial university in the intended were in undesirable status. Science systems in the world have been in transition for better responding to social and economic needs to knowledge and technology. Entrepreneurial university is one of the suggested models for describing a new and modified picture for universities.
