Abstract :
The present study was conducted to investigate managers’ spiritual leadership qualities and its relationship with job satisfaction among Urmia University employees. Using descriptive correlation method, 234 employees were selected through stratified random sampling. To collect the data, a standard questionnaire was adopted and adapted by the researchers from Fry’s Spiritual Leadership Scale and Job Satisfaction model develop by Wittle and Davis. To validate the questionnaires, management experts were consulted. Conducting a pilot study on a sample with 30 subjects, using the reliability of Spiritual Leadership Qualities and Job Satisfaction Questionnaires were computed as /.933 and/.894, respectively Chronbach’s alpha. Through courted data was analyzed using MANOVA and multiple regression analyses. The results revealed that there was a significant positive correlation between spiritual leadership qualities and all job satisfaction components. Furthermore, organization membership, significance, organizational vision, and performance feedback could predict job satisfaction components significantly and positively.
