Abstract :
The main purpose of this research was developing a structural model for investigating the relationship among self-efficacy, competencies and position of faculty members in Islamic Azad University (zone one) with their classroom management. 436 out of 2181 faculty members were selected through stratified random sampling and based on Morgan table .A researcher-made questionnaire for assessing classroom management with 35 statements (chronbach alpha= 0.791), a questionnaire for assessing the position of professors in universities with 6 statements (chronbach alpha = 0.824), a researcher made questionnaire with 13 statements for assessing competencies (chronbach alpha = 0.866) and Schwartzer et al.’s questionnaire for assessing self- efficacy of faculty members were used to conduct this research. Multiple regression and Structural equation modeling were used to specify the portion of factors in classroom management. The results showed that self-efficacy (0.37), Competencies (0.24) and positions of professors (0.09) had a positive, direct and significant relationship with classroom management. Also self-efficacy and positions of professors had a significant relationship with 0.15, the relationship between self-efficacy and competencies was 0.28, and the relationship between positions of professors and competencies was 0.32.
