The Relationship between Intellectual Capital and Value Orientation among Shahrekord High School Teachers

Abstract :
The purpose of these study was to investigate the relationship between intellectual capital and value orientation among high school teachers in Shahrekord. Considering the importance of value orientation among teachers and the excessive tendency in some cases lack of attention to it, the researcher it necessary to conduct this study.285 participated in the study and completed questionnaires. After collecting the completed questionnaires, developed based on humanistic theories , and analyzing the data through data analysis procedures , the following results were obtained: a) There was no significant relationship between intellectual capital and value orientation at p<0.05 level of significance , b) There was no relationship between intellectual capital and different aspects of value orientation (aesthetic - theory - economic - social - political and religious), c) There was no significant difference between male and female participants , d) There was no relationship between teachers, value orientation and their demographic features, such as gender, age professional background , and educational degree .Gender and age had no impact on intellectual capital either; however , professional background and educational degree had influence on intellectual capital.
