The Relation between Primary School Teachers' Organizational Commitment and their Self-Monitoring in Zahedan, Iran

Abstract :
Abstract The Purpose of this research is to Study the relationship between organizational commitment and singelf-monitor among primary school teachers in Zahedan (district 1) in Iran. The method of research is descriptive and of correlational type. 274 out of 1050 primary school teachers in Zahedan (district 1) were selected through simple random sampling. Two 18- and 14-item questionnaires made by the researcher were used for data collection, and data analysis was done through SPSS software (version 17). The results show that here is the meaningful and positive relation between(a) teachers' organizational commitment and their self-monitoring, (b) teacher’s organizational commitments and personal emotions (r= 0.19), (c) teacher’s organizational commitments and relation with others (r= 0.35), and (d) teacher’s organizational commitments and intrinsic control (r= 0.53).
