The Prediction of Managers’ performance based on organizational intelligence and organizational citizenship behavior among primary schools’ principals

Abstract :
The present research has done to predic managers' performance based on staff’s organizational intelligence and organizational citizenship behavior at primary schools in Khorramabad. The research method was descriptive and of correlational type the population included all teachers (n = 760) in Khorramabad city, boys school, out of whom 245 cases were randomly selected through Morgan table instruments used were, (a) Albrakhts’ organizational Intelligence (2003), (b) Arabs' Organizational Citizenship Behavior questionnaire (2010) and Patterson (1990) job performance of manager’s questionnaire. The reliability of the questionnaires was confirmed through Cronbach's alpha. Pearson correlation, Spearman correlation and regression were used for data analysis. The results showed that there were positive and meaningful relationship between organizational intelligence and managers 'performance (99%) and between organizational citizenship behavior with managers 'performance (95%). There were also meaningful and positive relationship between the seven dimensions of organizational intelligence and job performance of elementary school principals in Khorramabad city. Three out of six components of OCB, namely sacrifice, obedience, and participation had significant relationship with managers' job performance, and only sacrifice power component can predict managers' performance in a positive direction. Also, Organizational intelligence and organizational citizenship behavior variable could predict 15% of the variations of the managers' job performance.
