The purpose of this research is to investigate how teachers use communication skills in their interaction with students and its relationship with students’ pass rate. In this descriptive research, data were collected using a researcher-made questionnaire which was made based on effective traits of interpersonal relationship (openness, empathy, supportiveness, positivism and equality), for both teachers and students and included 49 items. The reliability of the questionnaire based on Cronbach alpha was obtained 0.959. Frequency table, independent-samples t-test, Pearson’s correlation coefficient r, and Chi Square were used in SPSS software for analyzing the data. The research results show that there is a meaningful difference between teachers’ and students’ opinion regarding teachers’ use of communication skills. Also, female teachers use communication skills in a better way than male teachers and girls pass rate is more than boys. Furthermore, there is a meaningful positive correlation among teachers using communication skills and students pass rate.
