Structural Analysis of the Relationship between Managers' Competence Criteria and the Individual Performance of Employees of the General Directorate of Sports and Youth in Alborz Province

Abstract :
The aim of this research was the structural analysis of the relationship between managers' competence criteria and the individual performance of employees of the General Directorate of Sports and Youth in Alborz province. The method of conducting this research is descriptive and correlation type, which was conducted in the field. The statistical population of this research was formed by the employees of the General Directorate of Sports and Youth of Alborz province (N = 129). Using Morgan's table, the number of statistical samples was estimated to be 97 tons, which were selected by random sampling. In order to collect data, competency questionnaires of managers of sports organizations in Bajani (2017) and individual performance of Kompanz (2014) were used. The face and content validity of the questionnaires was determined using the opinions of sports management professors, and the reliability of the questionnaires was obtained using the Cronbach's alpha coefficient test of 0.88 and 0.84. In order to analyze the data, descriptive indices and statistical tests of Pearson's correlation coefficient, regression analysis and path analysis were used in SPSS and LISREL statistical software. The results showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between technical ability, scientific ability, personality ability, emotional perception ability and relationship management with individual performance. Also, the results of the regression analysis showed that scientific ability and relationship management have the conditions for predicting individual performance. On the other hand, the structural analysis of the research showed that the competence criteria of managers have a positive and significant effect on individual performance.
