Abstract :
Today, research on housing satisfaction in different classes of society has been paid attention to. Residential satisfaction is closely related to the well-being of residents and is generally considered as a determinant of people's quality of life. Studies of the quality of urban life are of great importance in terms of understanding the needs and expectations of different social groups regarding housing and residential environment, as well as providing solutions in housing and urbanization policies in the society. Residential satisfaction, the characteristics of the house and its environment is one of the factors affecting the quality of life. Because of their dynamic nature, megacities experience many structural transformations, and in this process, people's expectations and needs regarding their place of residence will also change. For example, studies have shown that after an epidemic like Corona, low-density residential areas and villas have attracted people's attention. Therefore, in the framework of improving people's quality of life, it is necessary to conduct research in different periods of time. Contrary to the studies that focused on the developed cities of the world and residential towers and ignored the characteristics of residential environments, this research has discussed the necessity of evaluating people's satisfaction about villa residential complexes. The aim of the current research is to investigate the quality of life in the Ahvaz Naft town, to extract the main components and the level of satisfaction of the residents of such settlements. In this research, using Friedman's questionnaire and statistical analysis method, the indicators affecting the quality of life in Ahvaz Naft town have been measured and evaluated, and the results show the complete satisfaction of the residents. Also, the components of the level of access, transportation and security have the highest level of satisfaction.
