With the arrival of this virus in Iran, many businesses were on the front line of dealing with this disease. Considering the conditions that arose during this epidemic period for businesses and in all fields, pharmacies are not exempt from this rule and as one of the small businesses that were at the forefront of dealing with this disease. have played an essential role in providing diagnostic, medicinal and therapeutic needs of patients. In this research, the impact of this epidemic on various dimensions of pharmacy performance, including financial dimensions, customers, internal processes, and growth and learning, was investigated. Involved factors were identified and analyzed using a balanced scorecard.
Methods: This study is a descriptive-survey study and the studied population includes urban pharmacies in different areas of Tehran. At first, the list of components required for the research was collected using the balanced scorecard method, and the desired questionnaire was designed and validated. Field data was collected from pharmacies in the city based on the sample size and sampling pattern. To analyze the data and check the descriptive and inferential statistics, mean test and one-sample t-test were used, and Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used to evaluate reliability in SPSS software.
Results: According to the average of all investigated dimensions, it can be said that the condition of the studied pharmacies in terms of the parameters of this research is at a higher than average level and the data follows a normal distribution. The results showed that from the point of view of the respondents, the covid-19 epidemic had a significant impact on financial aspects, internal processes, customer satisfaction, and the growth and learning of pharmacies in Tehran.
