Abstract :
Ph.D. Student of History of Islam, Tarbiat Modarres UniversityIn Islamic Andalusia, Mozarebs (or Arab speaking Christians),targeting Islamic theology, began to write Arabic controversialtreatises against Islam. This newly formed controversial literaturehad a great effect on the process of the translation of Islamictheological books, particularly Latin translation of Qurān, and alsoon the tradition of rebuttal writing in the Western Europe. Thisarticle is a survey of the process of formation of the controversialliterature in Andalusia and its different effects.
