Abstract :
The complexity of the teacher's role and many expectations from the teacher in the new global conditions require activities beyond the past, such as internships and retraining. Teachers in the society play an important role in realizing value creation through the transfer of concepts and helping learners in shaping the received materials. Nowadays, the role of teachers is not only to convey the content; Because beyond that, they should step in line with the society's goals and teach the material. A brief look at the events of teacher training in the past centuries, which were affected by the historical, social, political and cultural situations of different periods, gives us the opportunity to learn about the views and methods of teacher training in the previous century. As evidenced by the history of the evolution of education in the past centuries, especially in ancient Iran, teachers played the most important role in the education of young people and the transfer of the civilization, culture and knowledge of the past to the future generations.
