Abstract :
The earth's mineral resources limitation and heterogeneous distribution of these substances in different countries have made human beings think about extracting and using resources of the other parts and even extraterrestrial resources. Deep-sea mineral deposits can be considered as a reliable alternative potential to compensate for the limitations of land resources. According to number of authorized companies that operate in the region, sensitivity to the protection and preservation of the marine environment of the region is also increased. International Seabed Authority face with major discussions about protection of mining & exploration areas also, operating conditions, effective factors such as scientific mining processes, volcanic and technical processes, geochemical rocks and fluids, considering environmental requirements, performing extensive evaluation and field environmental assessment in the seabed before drilling and extraction operations. According to wide acceptance of the international community to provide primary funds in this sector, more codified and modern frameworks based on environmental criteria and requirements on a global scale base on the sustainable development approach and environmental protection, especially marine ecosystems in the seabed and sub-seabed should be defined and implemented.
