An Investigation of Technical-knowledge and Behavioral Empowerment of Employees (Cultural and Recreative Organization of Esfahan Municipality)

Abstract :
The aim of this study is to investigate the level of technical-knowledge and behavioral empowerment of employees at Cultural and Recreative Organization of Esfahan Municipality (including education, experience , technical skill, effective communication, selfmotivation and self-nonitoring, dimensions). Survey on all employees of Cultural and Recreative organization of Esfahan Municipality including formal staff, contract corporate and consultative (in total 716 people). Based on Kerjcie and Morgan table, 252 samples were obtained and randomly classified among the organization was elected vice. The data collection tool was, a questionnaire consisting of the standard ones of sybria shrink emotion intelligence and sussman, krivonos communication and snyder self-monitoring and researcher-designed questionnaire to measure the dimensions of knowledge and technical empowerment. The content validity was confirmed by the experts. Its reliability was calculated through Cronbach,s alpha coefficient and 0.85 was confirmed. The results was analyzed using spss software and using descriptive statistics and t-test, independent t, Tukey one-way ANOVA of variance statistical analysis . The results showed that the level of capability of the employees in components, education, experience, technical skill, effective communications, self-motivation was above average while in self-monitoring was under average. Moreover in dimensions of gender, years of service and type of their employment, no difference was observed at the level of empowerment, but occupation of B. A holders was more congruous with their education in comparison with the diploma holders.
