Abstract :

The present paper aims to evaluate the impact of the implementation of organizational resource planning systems on the supply chain management performance. In fact, we explore how organizational resource planning and supply chain management can work together to achieve business benefits. Organizational resource planning, as one of the latest management technologies of the organization, includes a set of activities and processes of organizations that are connected to each other through communication technology. They are responsible for establishing the flow of information between different parts of the organization and the supply chain, so that information sharing is the most important factor in the optimal functioning of each supply chain. Given the role and importance of information in the supply chain, organizational resource planning systems are used as a useful software solution to integrate all information and business processes of the organization and create integration in it. The results showed that organizational resource planning systems as a facilitator and catalyst system in the supply chain relationship that the existence of these electronic systems and comprehensive software with the ability to plan, analyze information and extract reports. Integrated and timely, along with efficient and effective supply chain, proper implementation and proper management leads to improved competitive advantage and profitability of service and manufacturing organizations.
