For this study, a questionnaire was drawn up and Farmers were interviewed in person. A total of 20 units were vector data. In order to determine how well the meat cattle Qazvin Province of DEA (DEA) was used. Calf fattening period in Qazvin province , usually between 10 to 12 months. Weight between 140 to 180 kg fattening and slaughter weight is between 450 and 500 kg. Units of study include the 1019 calves. Calculations for a period of one year fattening is done in 94-1393. The results showed that the highest share of energy consumption in the cattle studied were related to animal feed 22468149/07MJ energy in a way that was. After energy use in cattle feed of meat most of the fuel was5149675/22MJ energy that was. Energy ratio for cattle studied 0/152 , Energy efficiency 0/012 MJ kg and Pure Energy added – 27405532/2 MJ was. From 20 cases in the province , effective 4 units and 16 units were inefficient. In this study, an average inefficiency inefficient units was 82/69 Keywords: Cattle, energy index, Fattening calves, Data Envelopment Analysis
