Abstract :
Sativa is one of the most important forage crops in the world. This production in agriculture of Iran and supply of required interal forage to feed livestock plays an important role. The use of precision farming and the use of advanced systems is one of new management tools in agriculture. The overall goal of the design, construction and system test is determining the actual cutting width of cylindrical Reaper by ultrasonic sensors in this study, to provide a mechanism to reduce sativa harvest losses and avoid excessive traffics in the farm. In this regard, all parameters in the design, manufacture and system testing to be studied and evaluated. The mechanism of this system consists of a series of electronic circuits in the form of ultrasound waves that emits waves itself that reflected with meeting a barrier and the distance to be measured with waves feedback to sensor. By installing the system on the basis that the cylindrical reaper was designed and built, 56 tests in static and in motion was carried on the reaper. The dependent variable in this test are height, speed and cutting width of cylindrical reaper. Designed to evaluate the system, a total of 56 tests in static and on the move on harvesting round was carried out. The obtained data were evaluated with using the SPSS software and using a randomized complete blocks design with Duncan. The results of this study showed that the system is installed on cylindrical reaper is recorde error in static mode % 0,97 and %6,64 in motion.
