Abstract :
Goals of energy analysis are decrease of inputs consumption and substitution of renewable energy sources in agricultural process and decrease of production costs and methods as for as possible. This research is applicational, because its results are usable for programmers and people in charge of agricultural progress politics of country. This research was done in rice farms in Sowme'eh Sara county. For achieving needed information elementary questionnaires designed which was evaluated as elementary pre-test in interviewing some farmers. Results showed that total input energy in traditional and mechanized method in Gohar variety was 18947 and 24507 Mj.ha-1 and in Hashemi variety was 18266 and 19571 Mj.ha-1, respectively. Maximum energy consumption was related to seed, toxin and chemical fertilizer. The next grade was related to equivalent energy of fuel consumption. Energy consumption in mechanized method was 18.4% more than traditional method. Energy ratio and energy productivity in traditional method was more than mechanized method. Energy ratio and energy productivity of Gohar variety was more than Hashemi variety.
