Abstract :
In this study technical efficiency of broiler producers was measured in Southern Khorasan using data evolvement analysis. To do so, two stage sampling method was used. The sample size was 186. The data was collected through filling up questionnaires and then analyzed by DEAP,SPSS and e-views. The results showed that assuming the constant and variable returns to scale the average of efficiencies were 0.9 and 0.93 respectively. The results indicated that experience, educational level, membership in cooperative and credit had positive effects on efficiency. Finally some recommendations are made to improve the situation.
